ZUKINI PEOPLE!

These are the zukini people i made. I made the one with the band aids at a friends house and the other one at home with my cousins.This one is named Moodle. I have no clue why i named a zukini but whatever.
The stuff Moodle has on is a skirt, hair, and just a bow thing.

This one is named Zoodle. The stuff he has is a neck tie, a belt, a backpack, a watch, band aids, glasses and a bracelet.

Those are his glasses.
This is his backpack.

This is the picture for the IF theme "crash". I made this picture with white computer paper
and my new Laurentien skinny markers.

let it snow

I have been taking art lessons at noon hour with a local artist. Each week we have been doing something different. I really enjoy them.

For the picture above, the art teacher had already painted the cardstock dark blue.Then we painted a winter scene with tempera paint and permanent black markers. The snowflakes were made by flicking white paint in the sky using a toothbrush.

I created this blog for my daughter Jane as a Christmas present. I won't be showing it to her until Christmas day, 2006. I hope that this will become a space for her to highlight some of her wonderful illustrations. She has long shown an interest in developing her abilities. This, I hope will be the first of many steps in her relationship with creative expression.

Jane created this when she was eight using the smelly marker medium. Beautiful and interactive.

Merry Christmas Jane. I love you.
